Is Gateway Academy an accredited school?
Gateway Academy is a registered New York State School. The school has been approved by the New York State Board of Regents and as a registered school, can grant academic credit in New York State. Gateway Academy is also a long-standing member of ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).
Can Gateway Academy students obtain bus transportation?
Transportation can be obtained through the New York City Office of Pupil Transportation. The same guidelines and criteria that provide transportation for public school students apply to Gateway Academy students. Does the Academy offer a Before and After Care Program?
Yes. The Before Care program runs from 7:30am – 8:30am and the After Care program runs from 3pm – 6pm. Parents may enroll students on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. To find out more about fees or to sign up contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What extra-curricular activities are offered at Gateway Academy?
Gateway Academy offers several outstanding extra-curricular activities including the following: Performing Arts, American Sign Language, Soccer, Basketball, Football, and Kickball (offerings vary by year and semester).

What time does school start and end?
School begins at 8:25am. Kindergarten through 8th Grade and full time Pre-K students attend school from 8:25am – 2:45pm. Dismissal is at 2:45pm. Half day Pre-K students attend until 11:30am.
Is there a standardized uniform and where can I purchase it?
Yes, there is a standardized uniform. Uniforms can be ordered at Flynn & O’Hara at 2645 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY. You can also order online by visiting their website www.flynnandohara.com.
