Gateway Academy's Center for the Arts offers the highest caliber of artistic education so our students may achieve their fullest potential as academics, artists and leaders. Center for the Arts has grown to be a highly sought after school on Staten Island for those wishing to enhance their music and acting skills with seasoned instructors.

Elementary students have art and music appreciation classes. Middle School and High School students have electives in drama, photography, musical theater, art and more.

After school private and group lessons are available for students every school year in areas such as guitar, piano, voice, violin, dance, drama and photography. Offerings may change from school year to school year.

Additionally, a needs-based tuition support program is available.

Major performances take place during Christmas and Spring that attract over 1000 ticket holders from all over New York City and New Jersey.
